We fabricate every gate in-house using steel, often called wrought iron, or aluminum. Each material has a place depending on your goals.

Steel (Wrought Iron)

Steel is the most popular choice for custom gates. It is strong, durable, and the traditional material for driveway and security gates. Every steel gate we quote includes a textured black or textured bronze powder coat finish, but you can choose any color of powdercoat to get the finish that perfectly matches your aesthetic!

Aluminum

Aluminum is lightweight and naturally rust-resistant, but it is a more expensive material and a more involved build process than steel. It is a strong choice for large gates, highly custom designs, or for homeowners who want something distinctive that most of their neighbors do not have.

Custom Gate Pricing

Every gate is priced by the linear foot of width, plus a build fee, with a $1,100 minimum. Infill options include steel sheet, perforated or decorative steel, cedar or redwood pickets, composite pickets, or composite decking.

Swinging Gates

$220 per foot of width plus a $250 build fee.

Sliding Gates

$275 per foot of width plus a $450 build fee. Slide gates require clearance equal to their full width plus about two feet on one side, and that space is often available along a long fence run.

From there, we can set up a free, no-obligation on-site estimate, and work with you on design, material, and dimensions to make sure the gate fits your property and your goals. ‘Standard’ custom gate builds typically take 2 to 4 weeks. Highly custom or complex designs can take longer. If you are automating a gate, standard automation installation runs 1 to 2 weeks, with larger or more complex projects taking additional time. Repairs and automation service calls are same-day.
